What this guide establishes
- Election data and asset disclosures come from separate systems and dates.
- Historical winner records do not establish current office or party affiliation.
- A name-based asset search does not establish that the records describe the winner.

- Election status must be checked with the National Election Commission
Dataset scale does not remove the need to check identity, publication date and the original Korean record for consequential use.
Historical results are not a current-office register
The panel presents available winner records from a past election by election type and region. Party, district and role describe the election-time record, not necessarily the person's current status.
The election date, PWRMAP collection date and asset-disclosure publication date are separate clocks. Coverage of collected source pages does not prove nationwide completeness; check the stated scope and unopposed-result coverage before citing a count.
Searching a winner's name still requires identity checks
An asset search returns records matching the name, not a verified join to the winner. Check the institution, role, publication date and original sources. A change of affiliation or role may also leave separate records for the same person.
Election results and PETI disclosures are separate datasets. An absent match does not establish zero wealth or a reporting failure. Cite each source and date separately, and leave an unverified connection explicitly unresolved.
